Scene of Ease creates cinematic films for real estate and brands that want to stand out. We transform spaces, architecture, and creative work into visual stories that attract attention and communicate value.
With a strong focus on atmosphere and emotion, each film goes beyond showing what is there. It reveals character, intention, and the essence of a vision.
How it started
Scene of Ease was founded by Roan van Dam in 2025, driven by a desire to capture stories and places with greater attention and feeling. After years of working with visual media, this grew into a focus on creating films that do more than simply show, but also invite people to feel.
With a background in acting, film, and creative entrepreneurship, Roan developed a deep understanding of how atmosphere, emotion, and narrative come together on screen.
Scene of Ease exists to create films that slow things down. Instead of fast content, we focus on cinematic visuals that are crafted by hand, with intention and attention to detail.
We work with real estate professionals and entrepreneurs who believe in the power of visual storytelling. If you want to capture a place or story in a thoughtful, visual way, we invite you to get in touch.
Every project is unique, and so is the time it takes to tell a story the right way.
To keep things clear and transparent, we work with half day sessions (each session equals four hours). Most projects combine several sessions for filming, editing, and fine tuning the final piece. As a general guide, a short social video might take around two sessions, while a more extensive brand film could take four or more. As a reference, a half day session is €360 for four hours.
Preparation, script development and feedback are always included, because creating something meaningful takes more than just pressing record. Rather than fixed packages, we prefer to build a proposal that fits your specific needs and vision.
If you share a bit about your idea, we’ll make an honest estimation of the time and investment involved, with no surprises, just a clear and creative process.
